Gojiiya Feast Day
September 14th & 15th
Gojiiya is a ceremonial time for the Jicarilla people. Central to the thanksgiving feast is a traditional relay race between the Llanero Clan (Red clan) Plainsman and the Ollero Clan (White clan) Mountain pottery makers. Gojiiya ceremonial grounds are located 17 miles south of Dulce, at Stone Lake.
Little Beaver Round-Up
Third weekend in July
Little Beaver is the highlight of the summer season and includes a parade, rodeo, pow-wow, carnival, pony express, outdoor concerts and many more activities.
Jicarilla Day Pow-Wow
Weekend after February 10th.
The Jicarilla Day Pow-wow celebrates the establishment of the Jicarilla Apache Reservation on February 10, 1887 and our enduring Jicarilla Apache Culture.
